http://www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/news/article.cfm?c_id=1&objectid=10671050 and it will take months, if not years, to rectify the damage. This is the largest natural disaster New Zealand has experienced in my lifetime and all of us know someone affected. There are two ways you may be able to help; 1) The Vodafone NZ Foundation is launching a Red Alert appeal to raise funds in partnership with Red Cross. If your individual Foundation would like to make a contribution to disaster relief, we would be extremely grateful. Thanks to the Vodafone Fiji Foundation who have already make a generous pledge. 2) The Vodafone business is also exploring how it can best support the people of Christchurch through this time. We would be grateful if you would please share stories of what the Vodafone business has done to support people in your local market in times of crisis/ natural disaster. This could include zero rating calls on a particular day or staff getting involved on the ground to support those in crisis. We would love to hear about anything that has worked well in your particular market, or anything you know has worked in another market, “said Annette Culpan, Foundation Manager, and Vodafone New Zealand Foundation.
